What to expect?
When you book and appointment with South Coast SolarClean, we will send a small crew out to your home or business to professionally clean and wash all the panel's of you photovoltaic system.
Whether it is a large commercial system or the standard home roof system, our crews are experienced working with all types and size systems and panels. Our employee's will start by conducting an 5 point visually inspection of your panels, free with every cleaning. After inspecting your panels we will rinse off your panels to remove any dirt and debris, then gently scrub down the panels using a metal free, water fed pole, with a soft silicone brush.

Our crews use deionized water to give your panels a spotless finish. Ensuing that we never have to use any harmful detergents or chemicals, allowing us to provide you with a 100% Environmentally Safe and True Green Solution to cleaning your panels.

Why do I need my panels cleaned? Won't the rain do the job?
No, the rain is not enough to keep your panels clean and running at peak efficiency. Rainwater can pick up small amounts of pollution, pollen, mold and other contaminates, over time these contaminates will slowly build up, lowering the clarity of the glass on your panels. In place where precipitation levels are much higher then Southern California, they may see enough rain fall to keep the dirt and dust at bay, but vegetation and bird/rodent droppings can remain, damaging your panels and costing you money.

So my panels are dirty. Can it really affect my efficiency that much?
Yes, our clients are often amazed to see how much savings they were losing. Do you using any Chemicals or Detergents to help clean the panels?
No we never us any chemicals or detergents. Most solar panel manufactures recommend Not Using chemicals or detergents on your panels due to the risk of damaging the glass or the panels themselves. At South Coast SolarClean we are a complete True Green Solution, we use deionized (pure) water to clean your panels, leaving a spotless finish while providing you with a 100% environmentally safe service for you and your home.

What is Deionized water?
Deionized water is Pure H2O. It's water that has been filtered to remove all minerals and other solids that are left behind when the water evaporates. It's important to use deionized water because if these particulates are allowed to build up on your panels glass, it will cause them to absorb less sun light and damage the glass over time. Not using deionized water can also be a contributing factor for your panels metal frames and support connectors in rusting, leading to costly repairs.
